YES! The Magnolia Bride is open to try on wedding gowns by appointment only, as I see only one bride at a time. I want each bride to have a personalized experience in a comfortable and intimate setting. This means that you get the whole shop to yourself! No sharing of dresses, mirrors and dressing rooms. You can be yourself with your closest family & friends as you find your dream dress.

I believe that every bride is beautiful and that every bride should have beautiful options to try on, so I sample gowns from size 2- 26W. Because I can't have every gown in every size, I will pin and clip the dresses to give you an idea of how the proper size should fit.
Appointments are approximately 90 minutes. That is usually the ideal amount of time to try on several gowns, narrow down your selection, and choose your wedding dress without feeling rushed. Of course, if you feel you need more time, I am happy to schedule a return visit!
I will be assisting you in trying on the gowns, so wear something you are comfortable in. Light colored undergarments, strapless bra, and some heels (if desired) are suggested.
They are allowed, but I ask that you refrain from taking them until the end of the appointment when we have narrowed down your choices to your top 2 or 3. Taking them throughout the appointment can be distracting and may not be the best use of your time. I also ask that when viewing the photos to remember that smart phones do not take professional photographs and are generally not as flattering as seeing the gown in person, remember how you feel in the gown, not how you look in the snapshot.
As I am a small boutique, I recommend bringing 1-4 family members or friends whose opinions you value most. Wedding dress shopping is fun, but it can quickly get overwhelming and stressful when a bride is considering the opinions of a lot of people. Remember that is is YOUR wedding dress – and it is your feelings that are most important! I believe that every bride wants and deserves a wonderful wedding dress shopping experience. If you would like to bring a larger group, please call the store to make arrangements.
There is street parking on North Main Street, right in front of the store and also a large parking lot behind the store with access from North Main St, Cherry St and West Mountain St.
